Mumbai: Producer of the TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, Asit Modi, terming the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal as completely false, said, ‘He will soon take strong action on this matter and he will soon punish the actress. Will file a defamation case.
Let us tell you that Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played the role of ‘Mrs. Sodhi’ in the show, had filed a police case against Asit Modi and project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj alleging sexual harassment. According to the actress, during the shooting, Modi used to call her in the room and misbehave with her. The actress also said that ‘the environment of the set of the show is very malevolent, there is mostly an army of men and only men run. The people working there in the show are bonded labourers.
