Hyderabad: Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has made a strategic investment in Azad Engineering with a minority stake in providing engineering and technology solutions to equipment manufacturers in the clean energy, aeronautical, defense and oil and gas sectors.
Giving this information in a statement on Monday, Azad Engineering said that Sachin’s investment will strengthen the company’s commitment to contribute to the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat campaigns. However, the company has not given information about the amount Sachin has put in as a strategic investment. In return for this investment, the legendary cricketer got a minority stake in the company.
