RR vs RCB, IPL 2023: Today the 60th match of IPL 2023 is being played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In this match being played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, RCB won the toss and scored 171 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs while batting first. If Rajasthan has to get the seventh win of this season, then they will have to score 172 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, RCB had an average start. In the Powerplay, the team had scored 42 runs without losing any wicket. Bangalore got the first blow on the last ball of the 7th over. KL Asif got in-form Virat Kohli caught out by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Virat scored 18 runs in 19 balls. In this innings, he hit a four.
After this, there was a 69-run partnership for the second wicket between captain Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell. On the 5th ball of the 15th over, KM Asif gave Rajasthan the second success. He got Faf caught out by Jaiswal. The RCB captain scored 55 runs in 44 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. In the very next over, RCB got the third blow. Mahipal Lomror could not do anything special and became the victim of Zampa by scoring 1 run in 2 balls.
Zampa got his second success on the third ball of the 16th over. He got Dinesh Karthik out lbw. The wicket-keeper batsman faced 2 balls and could not even open the account. Sandeep Sharma bowled Maxwell on the third ball of the 18th over. The Australian batsman scored 54 runs off 33 balls. During this, he hit 5 fours and 3 sixes. Maxwell was attempting a reverse sweep. Michael Bracewell remained unbeaten after scoring 9 runs and Anuj Rawat scored 29 runs.
