Big action against terrorists in Kashmir, SIT raids at several locations in Srinagar-Anantnag-Kulgam


Jammu-Kashmir: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir started a major action against the terrorists today (March 18) morning. The agency is conducting raids at several locations. The SIA team is conducting search operations in Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Srinagar.

A top SIA official said that the investigating agency raided several places with the help of the local police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The officer told that this raid is being done in an already registered case.

Red at these places
Agencies conducted a search operation at the house of Mohammad Hanif Bhat in Srinagar. Another team of officers raided the house of Abdul Hameed Lone, son of Ghulam Ahmed Lone.

Another team reached the house of Abdul Razik Wage, son of Sarjan Barkati, in Reban Zainpora, Shopian and searched. The house of Sarjan Barkati’s brother Mohammad Shafi is also being searched.

In Kulgam, the agency conducted a search operation at a house in Katpora Yaripora. In Anantnag also raids are going on in some houses.

NIA also raided
Prior to this, on Tuesday (March 14), the NIA team raided several places in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with terror funding. NIA officials with the assistance of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF carried out search operations in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag districts of the valley.
