A surprising case of poisoning of hundreds of girls has come to light for the last few months in Qom, which is considered to be a religious city in Iran. Iranian state media reported that an Iranian minister made a shocking revelation when he said that some people in the country’s holy city of Qom are poisoning schoolgirls in a bid to stop girls’ education. Deputy Health Minister Yunus Panahi apparently confirmed the poisoning. However, no arrest has been made in this case so far.
