In this regard, he tweeted that an order has been issued to give unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 per month to the educated youth of Chhattisgarh from April 1. On the other hand, according to the announcement of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, unemployment allowance scheme is being implemented in Chhattisgarh from April 1, 2023. Under this scheme, every month Rs 2500 will be paid directly to the eligible beneficiaries in their bank account. The unemployed will also be given training for skill development and they will be helped to get employment.

At the same time, according to its eligibility, the income of the entire family of the applicant should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh annually to take advantage of the unemployment allowance scheme. Family means husband and wife, dependent children and dependent parents.
Who will not get unemployment allowance
According to the scheme, if more than one member of the applicant’s family of unemployment allowance scheme fulfills the eligibility conditions, then unemployment allowance will be approved to only one member of the family. In such a situation, unemployment allowance will be approved to that member, whose age is more.
On the other hand, if any member of the applicant’s family is employed in any class IV or Group D job in any institution or local body of the Central or State Government, such applicant will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
If the applicant is offered self-employment or any job in government or private sector, but the applicant does not accept the offer, then he will be ineligible for the scheme.
Family members of former and present ministers, state ministers and former or present members of Parliament or state legislatures, former and present mayors of municipal corporations and former and present chairpersons of district panchayats will be ineligible for unemployment allowance. Also, the family members of such pensioners who receive a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more will be ineligible for the allowance.
Family members of doctors, engineers will also not get allowance
Also, family members of income tax payers, doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects registered with professional bodies will also be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
