‘Everyone knows that…’ What did wife Kranti Redkar say when CBI clamped down on Sameer Wankhede?

Aryan Khan Case: In the Aryan Khan case, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, NCB officer Sameer Wankhede is now finding himself in trouble. Actually, CBI has registered an FIR against Sameer, former director of NCB Mumbai zone. Now the statement of Wankhede’s wife Kranti Redkar has come in his support.

Seeing her husband getting embroiled in corruption and the CBI tightening its noose, his wife Kranti Redkar Wankhede said, “Everyone knows that the allegations against him are false. These are just allegations and we are fully cooperating with the CBI proceedings. We have faith in law and order, and we are ready to cooperate with the investigating agency as a responsible citizen.”

Allegations on Sameer Wankhede in the FIR

In the CBI FIR, Sameer Wankhede has been accused of demanding a bribe of 25 crores in return for not implicating Aryan Khan in the drugs case on the cruise. On May 12, 2023, the CBI raided the house of Sameer Wankhede, who arrested Aryan Khan in a drug case on a cruise. A team of 10 to 12 of the agency raided Wankhede’s house for about 13 hours. It is being said that the CBI took away many documents including the printer from Sameer’s house.

Raids on 29 locations of Wankhede

The agency has raided a total of 29 locations in Delhi, Ranchi and Kanpur including Sameer Wankhede’s Mumbai residence. Aryan was arrested by Sameer Wankhede in the cruise case, after which he was kept in judicial custody for about 4 weeks. After being released, in May 2022, Aryan was given a clean chit by the NCB saying that no evidence was found against him.

In such a situation, arresting Aryan Khan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, seems to be overwhelming for Sameer Wankhede.
