Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, during his maiden visit to Sweden, discussed a range of issues during the inaugural session of the India Trilateral Forum on Monday. Jaishankar is on a three-day visit to Sweden. Sweden currently holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union. “Had positive talks on a wide range of contemporary issues,” he said. Earlier during his meeting with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christerson, the minister said he conveyed personal greetings to him on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “We appreciate his commitment towards strengthening India-Sweden relations.” Jaishankar has reached Stockholm to participate in the meetings of the European Union (EU) and the Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum (EIPMF).
