Manisha Korayla was offered the film

Before Urmila Matondkar, this film was offered to Manisha Korayla. But Manisha Korayla refused to do this film. After this Urmila was cast in it. People did not like this film much, but even after that the discussion of this film continued. Even after winning the Filmfare Award, the film remained in the limelight. Even after 20 years the film is remembered. The film’s director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi’s film Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan was released recently. Which was rejected by the audience and flopped badly at the box office. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi had held Akshay Kumar responsible for the film.
