In this era of engineering and medical studies, people have forgotten to study agriculture. But now governments are paying attention to it. From the central to the state government, various schemes are coming up to make the study of agriculture popular among the people. The government of Rajasthan has also done something similar to connect daughters with agriculture studies. In fact, the Rajasthan government has increased the incentive amount given to girls studying agriculture by up to three times.

According to the statement issued by the Rajasthan government, now the girls who will choose agriculture in 11th, 12th, MSC and PhD, they will be given a considerable amount of incentive. Let us tell you, the incentive amount has been doubled by the Government of Rajasthan for the girls doing graduation in agriculture. That is, now instead of 12 thousand rupees, they will get 25 thousand rupees every year. Whereas, the girl students studying agriculture in 11th and 12th will now get 15 thousand rupees from the government. On the other hand, girl students taking admission in MSc will get Rs 40,000. Earlier this amount was only 15 thousand rupees.

Under which scheme money is received

This money is given to girl students by the Government of Rajasthan under the Rajasthan Youth Farmers Skill and Capacity Promotion Mission. The aim of this scheme is to attract girl students towards agriculture. In fact, till now the names of men are more among the successful farmers, but the Rajasthan government wants that the girls of its state should also move forward in farming and earn money along with name. Let us tell you, at present agriculture is being taught in many recognized schools, colleges and universities of Rajasthan.

How to apply for this?

All the girl students who want to take advantage of this scheme, they have to apply through Raj Kisan Saathi Portal or E-Mitra. To take advantage of this scheme, you must have some important documents. In these, the original residence certificate and last year’s mark sheet are mandatory. Registration is done every year for this scheme by the Agriculture Department.
