Twenty-one opposition parties, including the Congress, the Left, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), have jointly announced a boycott, saying they have no interest in the new building when the “soul of democracy has been crushed”. Value is not visible.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi separately said that if Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla does not inaugurate the new parliament building, his party will not attend the event.

Every Maharashtrian and patriot feels honored by this gesture.” It said, “We urge all political parties of Maharashtra to keep aside their political differences and join this national festival for the sake of national unity and as a tribute to Veer Savarkar.”
