Starring Harman Baweja and Karishma Tanna in lead roles, the series features Ishita Arun, Zeeshan Ayub’s wife who inspires her husband to fight against the evils of the system. According to Ishita, when she got the offer of ‘Scoop’, she was doing a series called ‘Good Bad Girl’. But this was not possible due to the Corona pandemic and a day came when she was on the sets of ‘Scoop’ without any preparation.

Regarding her character, Ishita says, ‘Even though her character is supportive, it has a lot to do with the life of Zeeshan’s character. She inspires him to stand with his partner through his pen while showing the way.
Hansal Mehta’s ‘Scoop’ is inspired by journalist Jigna Vora’s book ‘My Days In Prison’. The series also stars Karishma Tanna, Mohammed Zeeshan, Prasannajit Chatterjee, Harman Baweja, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Deven Bhojani among others. This web series will stream on Netflix on 2 June.
