‘It was being said that Mumbai will burn…’ Devendra Fadnavis’s scathing attack on Uddhav and Aditya Thackeray

Devendra Fadnavis On Uddhav Thackeray: The politics of Maharashtra is heating up these days. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has strongly attacked Uddhav Thackeray after ordering an inquiry into the case of cheating youths on the pretext of jobs in the government. He has said that neither he is afraid of Aditya Thackeray nor his father. There are allegations of involvement of Varun Sardesai, cousin of Yuva Sena leader and former minister Aditya Thackeray, in the fraud case.

Devendra Fadnavis has said that neither we are afraid of that 32 year old man (Aditya Thackeray) nor even his father (Uddhav Thackeray). 50 people got cleaned from under his (Uddhav Thackeray) nose and he could not do anything. He had said that Mumbai would burn, but not even a single matchstick was lit.

What did Fadnavis say in the case of fraud?

Earlier, in the case of fraud, Devendra Fadnavis had said that the matter is serious and the government will investigate it. About a week ago, Fadnavis announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate Disha Salian’s death. The legislators of the ruling coalition in Maharashtra demanded the formation of the SIT last week. They were clearly targeting Shiv Sena’s (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MLA and former minister Aditya Thackeray.

What is the allegation of BJP leaders?

A BJP leader has alleged that at least Rs 10 lakh was taken from the youths and they were sent to Gondia for training. A school was built in Gondia and he was trained there. After the training, he was given an appointment letter, which stated that he would be appointed as an instructor by the school.
