Srinagar. An encounter between terrorists and security forces started on Saturday morning in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. A police officer gave this information.
The security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation following specific information about the presence of terrorists in Mitrigam, Pulwama in south Kashmir, they said.
According to the official, the search operation turned into an encounter when the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. The security forces are also giving a befitting reply to the firing of the terrorists. According to the official, the exchange of fire between the terrorists and the security forces is going on and no casualty has been reported from either side so far.
