According to Kubra, ‘Nawazuddin used to get very nervous before every intimate scene. During one such scene, Nawaz was not getting ready in any way. Then Anurag Kashyap handed over the responsibility of preparing him to me. To persuade Nawaz, I came up with an idea. I went close to him, kissed him and said- ‘Ab chal scene karte hain’.
Kubbra, who played the role of Kuku in the series, told that Nawaz was very shy on the sets. The actress told that, ‘That was the last scene of that day. I just had to go and complete that scene. I remember we took seven takes to finish that scene. By the seventh take, we had lost count of the number of hours we had been filming the scene. According to Kubra, ‘Nawaz is the most shy person on this earth. So, they had to get caught and get such scenes done. I used to kiss his cheeks and say let’s do a sex scene. This is my job, I need to create such an environment.
