What did Himanta Biswa Sarma say?
In Karnataka’s Belagavi, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “There are many people in our country who proudly say that they are Muslims. Many people proudly say that they are Christians. I have no objection to this, but we also need such a person who proudly says that he is a Hindu.

Sarma had further said that Congress is working to weaken India. Earlier the Mughals had weakened the country. Congress is today’s new Mogul. If Ram temple is built then they have objection. Are you the child of a Mughal?

‘Written wrong history’
BJP leader Sarma said that historians of India have written wrong history of India. All these historians were leftists. History of India is not of Mughals. Our history belongs to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Now there is a need to write a new history of the country.
