Pakistan Cricket Board threatens legal action against Rameez Raja

Karachi. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has threatened to take legal action against Rameez Raja. After the ouster of Rameez from the PCB, a war of words broke out between the former chairman and the new management committee. Last Thursday, the Pakistan government had removed Rameez from the post of PCB chairman and appointed a 14-member committee headed by Najam Sethi to run the cricket board.

Rameez then alleged that he was not being allowed to enter the board’s office even to bring his personal belongings. He had termed the entire incident as a farce and said that one should not expect any good for Pakistan cricket with the new committee in place. Taking serious note of Rameez’s statement, Sethi and the committee issued a statement and said that they have reserved the right to take legal action against the former captain.
