Punjab’s Naman’s Pakistani girlfriend Shahneel gets India visa, will get married in April

Actually, his Pakistani girlfriend Shahneel Javed has now got India’s visa, now both will tie the knot in April.

24-year-old Naman Luthra got engaged to Pakistan’s Shaleen in 2016, but after that both of them could not get married due to Shaleen not getting India’s visa. In an interview to The Times of India, Luthra said, “In spite of completing all the formalities, his fiancee was denied visa several times in the past.” Now both the families are preparing for the wedding. Naman is also now eagerly waiting for his bride, her parents and her relatives to come to Batala.

Naman thanked the Government of India

Naman, a resident of Gurdaspur’s Batala, thanked the Indian government, saying, “Shahnil got the visa on Thursday (March 16) and is now coming here in the first week of April. Once she is here, We’ll get married.” Naman Luthra and his Pakistani fiancee Shahleen Javed are distant relatives. They fell in love while meeting at a family function, but the borders had put restrictions on their love.

Naman Luthra made it clear that he will live in Batala with his wife after marriage. According to the Times of India report, Naman Luthra’s family had come from Lahore at the time of partition and settled in Batala, Punjab. Although his family great-grandfather stayed in Lahore with his family. Later he adopted Christianity.
