Describing the record-breaking success of film “Pathan” as a kind of certificate, Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi said that the Shah Rukh Khan starrer’s stupendous run at the box office gives hope that the boycott culture will finally end.

Mumbai In the last 50 days, the film Pathan has earned by breaking records. Where Pathan broke records of all the films like KGF, RRR, Bahubali and created new records. For a long time Bollywood was suffering from drought of hit film but Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback after four years ended the drought and brought in flood. The film has earned more than 1500 crores so far. Now Shabana Azmi’s statement has come on the success of Pathan.

Describing the record-breaking success of film “Pathan” as a kind of certificate, Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi said that the Shah Rukh Khan starrer’s stupendous run at the box office gives hope that the boycott culture will finally end. The film, which released about 50 days ago, has already earned around Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. Azmi said that he expected the film under the banner of Yash Raj Films to be a hit, but he is surprised by the success it has received.

Azmi said, “I love ‘Pathan’, my heart was saying that ‘Pathan’ would be a hit, but it turned out to be such a success that it came out like a certificate.” I am very happy about this film.” Azmi said, “I hope this ends the boycott culture because the success of the film is actually the answer. I enjoyed the film.

In 2022, amid a boycott campaign by a section of people on social media, several big budget films had failed to pull people to the theatres, including Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’, Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Shamshera’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rakshabandhan’, and Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’.
