Manish Sisodia has become the second leader to be arrested on corruption charges after former Health Minister Satyendar Jain last year. Sisodia has 18 departments
According to the Delhi Government website, there are a total of 33 departments. Out of these, Sisodia has 18 departments like Health, Education, Public Works Department (PWD), Services, Finance, Electricity, Home and Urban Development. Sisodia has the charge of all such departments which are not allotted to anyone.
Which portfolio do other ministers have?
Apart from Arvind Kejriwal, there are six cabinet ministers in the Delhi government, including the jailed Jain. Satyendar Jain is currently a minister without portfolio. Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate last year in a money laundering case. Environment Minister Gopal Rai has only three portfolios. Imran Hussain has two portfolios – Food and Civil Supplies Election.
