Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Jamia Chancellor: Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin has been elected Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia on Monday (March 13). The Court of Members (Anjuman) of Jamia Millia Islamia has unanimously elected Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin as the Chancellor (Ameer-e-Jamia) of the University for a period of five years from March 14, 2023.
There was a meeting of the members of the court on Monday. In which this important decision was taken. Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin has replaced Dr. Najma Heptulla. Najma Heptulla completed her 5-year term as the Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia last year.
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin comes from the Dawoodi Bohra community
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Dawoodi belongs to the Bohra community. The 53rd Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq, Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin is the head of the Dawoodi Bohra Muslim community since 2014. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin has been honored with many prestigious awards. He was included in the list of 500 Most Influential Muslims.
