UP government formed a five-member commission for OBC reservation, tenure will be for six months


UP News: In connection with the Uttar Pradesh civic elections, a commission has been constituted for OBC reservation. The UP government has constituted a five-member commission, which will be headed by retired judge Ram Avtar Singh. The tenure of this commission will be of six months.

The notice issued by the Special Secretary of UP states that for the next six months from the date of assuming the office of the Governor, former Judge Ram Avtar Singh, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Local Bodies Dedication Backward Classes Commission and former IAS Chaubey Singh Verma, Former IAS Mahendra Kumar, former Additional Legal Adviser Santosh Kumar Vishwakarma and former Legal Adviser Brijesh Kumar Soni are appointed as members. It has been said in the notice that separate orders will be issued regarding the honorarium, allowances and other facilities of the chairman and members.
