Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets in Mumbai ODI
Shami bowled 6 overs and bowled 30 ball dots
New Delhi. In the Mumbai ODI against India, Australia made a brilliant debut while batting first. But the result was bad. The Australian team led by Steve Smith was bundled out for 188 runs in 35.4 overs. Two Indian bowlers had a big hand in playing Australia’s band. One Mohammed Shami and the other Mohammed Siraj. Shami bowled 6 overs i.e. 36 balls and out of this 30 were dots. That is, not even a single run came and he took 3 wickets. Shami ended the Australian team’s game in 15 balls of his second spell. In these 15 balls, Shami did not give even a single run and took a total of 3 wickets.
At one time Australia was seen in a strong position in the Mumbai ODI. In 20 overs, the Kangaroo team had scored 129 runs for 2 wickets. Ravindra Jadeja made India return to the match by dismissing Mitchell Marsh. Marsh scored 81 runs in 65 balls. After the dismissal of Marsh, the pace of Australia’s runs stopped. But, after this Shami’s storm came. With the light old ball, Mohammed Shami raised the cot of the Kangaroo team in his spell of 3 overs and within 12 overs, the Australian team’s score became 7 from 129/2 to 184/7. After this Australia could not come back and the entire innings was reduced to 188 runs.
