What did Jairam Ramesh claim?
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had claimed that there is no concrete evidence that it was handed over as a transfer of power. He said, “There is no document related to Mountbatten, Rajaji and Nehru to prove that this scepter was used as a symbol of transfer of power from British to India, all the claims related to it are fake and brainchild of some people. ”
Jairam Ramesh said that the PM and his admirers are using this scepter for political gains in Tamil Nadu. Jairam Ramesh said that all this is the knowledge obtained from WhatsApp University, which BJP is spreading.
